OUR STORY
For over 25 years, our team has been creating beautifully crafted new kitchens, custom bathroom vanities, custom wardrobes, and custom cabinets for homes & businesses across Brisbane. Many long-time locals will remember us as Woodcraft Kitchens in Underwood, where we operated for more than two decades.
As our business grew, so did the need for a larger facility—so we relocated to Stapylton and evolved into WCC Kitchens & Cabinets. While our name and location have changed, our commitment to quality and personalised service remains exactly the same.
James Peddie personally manages each and every build, ensuring every project meets the high standards that have defined our reputation since day one.
We provide all our services in-house so that every project consistently meets the high standards we set our fully qualified designers and cabinet makers. Our attention to detail, together with our genuinely friendly service and real value for money, has enhanced our long lasting reputation as the place to go for all your renovation requirements.
How it Started
The founders of Woodcraft Cabinets & Kitchens, Wolf & Dora von Gneisenau started the company in 1986. This was a very successful business for many years, due to the success and the growth of the company; in 2003 Wolf & Dora employed James Peddie as their Manager. From that time James worked alongside Wolf & Dora in Woodcraft Cabinets & Kitchens.
James has an extensive background in the building industry from construction to design both in a commercial & domestic application. James has also worked overseas in design & construction in several Developing Nations. In 2007 Wolf & Dora offered James to buy Woodcraft as they felt confident in giving James this opportunity as they knew their company legacy would continue under his leadership & guidance.
James is taking WCC Kitchens & Cabinets to a new level, along with changing the company name to reflect this new journey that he and Denise have started on. James believes the future of WCC Kitchens and Cabinets Pty Ltd needs to reflect the new versatility in finishes for cabinets and continuing new styles with a move away from being known as timber kitchens.
WCC Kitchens & Cabinets Pty Ltd is still the home of Woodcraft. James, Denise & family still have the same friendly, qualified & skilled staff along with a couple of new faces.
